Breaking Up Your Topic with the Right Keywords

Research question:  Should we restrict the amount of violence the media is able to portray?

     Break up your research question into keywords that represent the main concepts:

  • Violence
  • Media
  • Restrictions

     Search for each keyword, connected with an 'AND', indicating you want results that discuss all the concepts:

             violence AND media AND restrictions
