ARTstor's collections will be of interest to scholars, teachers and students in Foreign Languages and Literature. The encyclopedic Image Gallery offers unnumerable images for individuals engaged with language instruction. Conversational vocabulary will be enriched by the study of photographs of scenes of daily life and everyday objects from a wide variety of cultures around the globe. The ARTstor Digital Library also contains images of major landmarks and artistic works, which can serve to illustrate the material culture of various societies. |
