Children's Literature 

Call numbers tell you where a book is shelved.

In the Curriculum Materials Center, two types of call numbers are used.

• Children's Literature is shelved in the Library of Congress Classification which groups titles by subject matter. Click here for more details
• Since Juvenile Fiction is assigned the call number PZ7, you will find a large number of books in the CMC with that call number. The shelves are also labeled "Fiction by Author, A-Z" to assist browsers.
• The Textbook collection has its own special arrangement described in the CMC Toolkit.
