Directories are among the best types of sources for the World
Wide Web. This site, maintained by a Washington, DC-based public
affairs organization and a publisher of congressional directories,
provides a simple but quite useful membership directory for
both houses of Congress.

This is the official internet web site for many United States
government publications. These include: the Congressional Record,
Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, and United States
Code. This publication outlines the process for conducting detailed
congressional research. Both primary and secondary resources
are referenced by the authors. A select bibliography covers
such topics as congressional leadership, reform, and powers.
LLDC
A fine web guide to sources of governmental legislative and legal information. No other site offers as good a guide to terminology and resources as LLSDC; recommended for use by law, academic, and public libraries.

This site is more specialized and focused on Congress than
are similar sites. A few minor errors were found:e.g.,the "election
map" was not a map at all,but perhaps it will be in the
heart of election season.
