This site also carries newswire articles from publications throughout the US and archives that contain several years of major news reports. This site is highly recommended for general readers, students at all levels and research scholars.[Reviewed]

American National Election Studies(NES) - This site provides access and information about some of the data collected by the NES at the University of Michigan.[Reviewed]

American Political Science Association

Assessing The New Federalism State Database - This is a website funded by the Urban Institute, makes available at no charge information on the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The site also includes published research and downloadable data on income security, health, child well-being, demographics, fiscal and political conditions, and social services.[Reviewed]

The Brookings Institution

Campaigns And Elections(Formerly Titled Congressional Quarterly's American Vote) - This site provides students and citizens with a reliable, convenient, and useful starting point for obtaining a wide variety of information on American politics.[Reviewed]

Center For Democracy And Technology - This website has pages that track relevant government activities and business practices with substantial archives including, most notably, testimony, speeches, policy papers, and other material prepared by CDTs own attorneys and policy analysts. This is also famous for following pending legislation's.[Reviewed]

Center For Responsive Politics - This website is a virtual gold mine for scholars studying the influence of money in contemporary congressional politics. Recommended for all levels.[Reviewed]

Center for the Study of the Presidency - Organization devoted to the academic study of the presidency. Contains a useful collection of web links on both foreign and domestic policy areas. The Center Fellowship Program provides a great opportunity for students to participate in leadership programs on the presidency with high ranking government officials.
