Important...
We have one Catalog at SJU---but we have two interfaces for searching it:
- Classic Catalog
- Discovery Catalog
When you locate a resource in the catalog:
- Click the title to go to the full record. Make a note of the call number and the floor where the book is located.
- Once you locate the book in the Library, browse around that area for other resources on the same subject.
When a book is not available:
- If we do not own the book you need, request it from Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
- If we own the book, but it is currently on loan to another patron, request it from E-ZBorrow.
Classic Catalog -- Looking for a Specific Title or Author
- The Classic Catalog is best used when searching for a specific title or author.
- You can search across additional fields such as ISBN or Call Number etc.
- You can also search for specific "subjects" as defined by the Library of Congress
- You can restrict your search to a particular collection e.g. Campbell Library or Drexel Popular Reading.
- Use this catalog if you need to capture a permanent link to the record for a resource.
