Economics 

The World Bank, not really a  “bank” in the common sense, is one of the United Nations’ specialized agencies. It is made up of 185 member countries which work to meet UN goals of  sustainable poverty reduction and consists of two organizations:

• International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)
  
  
• International Development Association (IDA).
