To locate companies within an industry - search by Primary SIC, Primary NAICS, or by MIC code.

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage - info

Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage is a comprehensive source of business and investment information, offering on-line access to popular Standard & Poor’s research products, including Compustat Excel Analytics and Compustat International Fundamental reports. The Compustat reports cover 50 data points on approximately 19,000 International public firms with 3 years of Annuals (rolling).

International Directory of Company Histories - info

Provides detailed histories of the largest and most influential companies (public and private) and nonprofits worldwide. Each history runs between 3-10 pages, and include Key dates, Company Perspectives (mission, goals, ideals), Principal Competitors, Principal Subsidiaries, and Further Reading. Histories are updated periodically.

Volumes 1-78 are in print at Drexel Library

Volumes 79 - are e-books in the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
