John R. Post '60 Academic Center

The Project
The result of this Project is a facility that incorporates the renovated Francis A. Drexel Library with the newly-constructed John and Maryanne Post Learning Commons. The two buildings are connected by a Glass Atrium.
The entire project doubles the existing space for students, providing a total of 120 computer work stations, an area devoted to Special Collections, a total of 24 collaborative study rooms, along with some specialty rooms for students, remodeled and expanded bathroom facilities, and an enhanced cafe, with an outdoor plaza. There is also a satellite office for the Career Service Center, Writing Center and Learning Resource Center. Several "green" elements, such as a partial green roof and ivy walls are included.
