Science Citation Index
The Science Citation Index Expanded™ from Web of Science is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes over 7000 major journals across 150 scientific disciplines and includes all cited references captured from indexed articles. Our subscription covers 1984 to the present.

PubMed (MEDLINE)
MEDLINE is the database of the National Library of Medicine-- PubMed is the Web interface to the database. Note that some full-text journals are available through PubMed Central.

AGRICOLA (article database)
Citations to the agricultural literature indexed by the National Agricultural Library. Covers agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, earth and environmental sciences.

Annual Reviews
Comprehensive, timely collections of critical reviews written by leading scientists. Annual Reviews volumes are published each year for over 40 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences.

BioMed Central
Open-access, online, peer-reviewed BMC journals that encompasses all the major biological and medical disciplines. In addition, the medical journals publish Case Reports, Debates and Study Protocols, and the biology journals publish Methodology articles. Title list by subject.   

Highwire Press
Over 1000 leading journals available from the journals' own sites. Includes articles published online ahead of print; plus all of Medline -- with links.  Title list by subject.

JSTOR 
Journal collections: "Biological Sciences" (coverage), "Aquatic Sciences" (coverage), "Botany & Plant Sciences" (coverage), "Ecology & Evolutionary Biology " (coverage) "General Science" (coverage) and "Zoology" (coverage).
Older volumes have been digitized, starting from the first issues and running up to 3 to 5 years ago; current issues are now available for selected journal titles.

ProQuest Research Library: Sciences Module 
Abstracts/indexing for over 600 resources in all areas of science. Includes some full text. Biology coverage includes such journals as: Aquatic Mammals, Biochemistry and Cell Biology, BioCycle, The Biological Bulletin, Endangered Species Update, Genetics, Human Biology, and more.

Public Library of Science 
A freely-available, searchable collection of open-access science journals.  All journals in this collection are scholarly, and have the full text available.


Index to American Botanical Literature
Provides bibliographic data both on books and articles in periodicals appearing since late 1995. Index for the years 1967-1995 are found in JSTOR in the Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club. A service of the New York Botanical Garden Library.
